Jaco doesn’t seem to know the rules for being a man. What is he supposed to do when he says goodbye to somebody and they walk off in the same direction? What happens when he’s walking at bight behind a woman? Does he speed up and overtake? Slow down and make her wonder where he went? Or should he simply run up and mug her just to make the situation less socially awkward? What is he supposed to say when somebody spits while talking? How about when he’s in a group of strangers? Does he kiss them on the cheek, shake their hand? Jaco is probably the most awkward person in the whole of Wigmore, and social situations are his biggest weakness. He doesn’t know how to act around people, and prefers to be alone. He has never had a girlfriend before. Yes, he has kissed a girl. But that was only after a drunk girl lunged on him at yet another party which became incredibly awkward. [/ul][/ul]

- - - - overall history, Jaco is a single child, which probably explains why he is unable to act in social situations. His mother and his father were never home when he was younger, as they were always working. They were very intelligent and when they did not own a tv for the first 8 years of Jaco’s life. When they finally got a tv at 9 years of age, Jaco instantly fell in love with it. He began creating his own tv shows, and saved up for his first camera at the age of 11. He got into Wigmore from a film scholarship. This benefitted him greatly as him family couldn’t afford to send him there without a scholarship.

He was always a social outcast. When he was in school he would often sit alone at lunch time, and with one or two people on the odd occasion. But he didn’t mind, he just enjoyed making films. He always carries him camera around with him, to capture every moment of his life.
