PERSONALITY • Everyone thinks Louis is all smiles and hair. Yes, where this may be a big part of Mr. Kaplan, he’s also incredibly bright. One of the friendliest people you’ll meet, he’d love to help you on that Chemistry lab where you can’t even figure out how to write up your observations. He could be a Tech Major, but it isn’t his passion. He adores learning and knowing things. But to put that into work fixing computers or working on a three page math problem aren’t exactly his favorite tasks.

Lou loves art and expression. His dorm is covered in canvas’ and paint tubes and he’s careful to mess any furniture up with the staining liquid. He does doodle a lot in class when he knows any information the teacher is going over and he doesn’t want to hear it again. When they’re good enough to him, he cuts them out and makes a collage of all the doodles. Working best with acrylic paints and graphite, his favorite subject matter is anything that moves; preferably a dancer. Funny as his secret crush is a dancer. No one knows which dancer she is. But he keeps coming back to the studio to sketch stunning, faceless portraits..

HISTORY • Louis Blake was brought up pretty well. His parents had him in 1995, and treated him like a normal boy growing up. You know the normal video gamer when he was growing up, then the whole surfing time from about 10-12. He then got tired and moved on to something else. Art. When he was 13 his dad had brought him to an art exhibit and he was introduced to the fabulous world of culture.

Ever since then he’s been fully submerged into the activity and never looked back. His family has been supplying with all the materials he needed and since then has painted all the art work hanging around in their house on the beach. When his little sister was conceived he took the opportunity to paint and decorate the room for her arrival and she is now 6 and loves it. He spoils that little girl rotten and he loves his sane family. It’s the most ‘normal’ family he’s ever seen. And his friends agree.

SHORT ROLE-PLAY SAMPLE • Mari waltzed into the club with her money and fake ID in her back pocket. Thought she didn’t bring much cash, she always found guys getting her drinks. She showed the glistening piece of plastic to the bouncer and he nodded. She stuck her tongue out at him playfully and walked past the red ropes. She was walking along the long hallway, hearing the ear blasting music in the distance. She began to hum to random songs in her head. Scrunching up her hair and putting her glasses on her face, she stepped out into the open.

Mari immediately started jumping around, seeing as the song was ‘Jump Around’ by House of Pain, she thought it was appropriate. She seriously loved this song ever since her dad showed her it, when she was about twelve. She rocked out and sang along, as loud as possible since no one could hear her. She had a pretty good voice, but after tonight, it seemed like she wouldn’t have a voice left. She jumped around and fist pumped and just danced all the way to the bar.

Once there Mari began making out with the bartender. He was use to it by now, he gave her a Mojito and she bit her lip while winking. That was thanks in Mari’s terms. She turned around and started to sip at the minty fresh drink, she liked the taste of vodka early at 1 A.M. in the morning. She rubbed her eyes, they were itchy.., and placed her drink in her special place. She knew no one would touch it or find it because well, she would find them and slap them for taking her drink.

So she made her way back to the dance floor and started sticking her hands up in the air and dancing alone, sublimedidly, a bunch of hot and not-hot guys crowded around her. She gave them a show and moved her hips to the beat, running a hand through her hair and biting her lip, she gave this one guy a look out from the top of her sunglasses. He looked awfully familiar. She shook it off and began to dance like no one was watching, which was such a lie. Everyone was watching her.
