It was a cold, cold day and Evie had been clearing out her dorm. She came across her roller skates. The temptation was too much and she had to go have a go on them. Tying them tightly to her feet she left her dorm, skating through Wigmore at a steady speed. She stumbled a couple of times but luckily managed to keep her balance and continue.
As usual, she had no idea where she was going but she hoped that it would be flat land with little bumps as possible. She soon reached a street lined with shops. She skated along, picking up speed as she got more familiar with the wheels on her feet. A smile came to her face as she began to enjoy it, the cold air hitting her face making her cheeks go a light pink colour.
Bright lights and bright colours in a shop window caught her eye and distracted her for a moment. When she turned back around she realised that she was about to crash into someone. She let out a shriek as she frantically tried to stop herself. Evie couldn't in time and crashed into the person, falling backward at great speed and landing on her back, banging her head.
